We are located in the Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco, which is between the Marina district and Pacific Heights. The office is situated on a charming commercial street in an otherwise residential area.
There is street parking available, but it is a commercial area. so you will probably want to leave a little time before your session if you drive. There is metered parking on Union Street itself, and free 2-hour street parking in surrounding areas. There is also a public parking lot with reasonable rates ($3.00 for 2 hours during the day) six blocks away. Take Webster north from Union Street to Moulton (just before you reach Lombard ) and take a left. There is also a closer garage at 1910 Union Street (cross street is Laguna, one block from the office) that charges $6.00/hour.
We are also accessible using public transport. For example, Van Ness Avenue (Highway 101 through the city) is well traveled by city busses and is only 3 blocks east. Check out this website for planning a trip using Bay Area public transit:

Fees
Fees for our 50-minute psychotherapy hours are based on the usual and customary rates for psychologists in this area. You will not be charged for a cancelled session IF you call 24-48 hours in advance (depending on the policy of the particular therapist).
Insurance Claims
While we do not participate in any managed care networks, many PPO insurance plans do provide coverage for mental health services provided by licensed professionals. It is the client's responsibility to remain informed about the presence or absence of insurance coverage for our work together. We do not bill insurance companies directly but will provide a monthly statement that can be used for filing claims. We are also happy to assist you by filling out any paperwork necessary for you to receive reimbursement.return to top
